I've had the pleasure of experiencing Sean's DJ'ing on different occasions and each time he has brought the vibes. So I KNEW I had to have him DJ my wedding. Our wedding reception came out beautiful and I was very pleased with Selector Sean and his team for the services that they provided on May 18, 2023. I had many request and he worked diligently with me right up to the day of the wedding to make sure all my request were included. As it was a Disney theme inspired wedding, I loved that he remember to incorporate some Disney songs during the dinner time and he turned up the vibes for my very Caribbean family as the night progressed. Selector Sean did my wedding on October 15, 2022. It was a movie. I know this term gets used a lot but our wedding was really a movie. Where do I begin.... We booked Selector Sean for our wedding over a year ago. The day finally came and he superceded all of our expectations and then some. His whole team was AMAZING! Man, where do I start?! Sean was nothing short of perfection. The day before my Baby Shower the Dj that was hired was diagnosed with Covid. THE DAY BEFORE MY BABY SHOWER!!! I had my baby shower on June 5, 2021 which was literally the hottest day for no reason. On top of that anything that could go wrong did. Btw my hairstylist, my makeup and my food. However I am ssssooo glad to say one thing I didn’t have to worry about was the DJ! Sean was super professional! My friends and I hosted a New Year's Eve Party that Selector Sean Dj'd. When I saw the crowd was jumping! It was such an amazing time and he is so professional. Selector Sean came to the event earlier than he was scheduled and ensured all his equipment was properly set up and ready to go. Having the party jumping all night, Selector Sean was also a superb MC. He didn't focus on just playing hits after hits; he focused on vibesssss. Our party was a vibeeee, courtesy of Selector Sean. He played everything- from 90s, to Reggae, to Soca, to Hip Hop everythingggg and stitched together so effortlessly. He definitely had the crowd feeling super young again. I absolutely did not know what I was going to do, to be frank. 4|20 was approaching and my normal Networking Game Night that I do annually seemed to not be happening due to the pandemic. Boy would I be wrong. Not only would I take it virtually, I would have theeeee BEST DJ ever to make MAGIC occur!. Selector Sean...just WOW! It is one thing to be able to rock a party in person when you can feel the energy in the room....but it is an entirely different thing to rock a party in a ZOOM room! It is an entirely different thing to play back to back hits and have the crowd ROCKING from start to finish; to have people out of their seats, out of their beds- dancing, singing along! During a time like this, we don't need someone LIKE Selector Sean, we NEED the actual Selector Sean! His DJing technique and style is amazing! What is more, he is dedicated to his craft. Selector Sean went through run throughs with me prior to the event to ensure that the music sounds was on point; that all the guests would be able to hear clearly the magnificent sounds coming from his DJ system. This made me feel safe and that this virtual event would be a success; and a SUCCESS it was. I am truly happy to have worked with Selector Sean. I would ALWAYS ALWAYS book him as a DJ! Sean did a great job at my daughter’s 8th birthday party. During the planning process he checked in with us to find out if there were any special songs my daughter loved to make sure that he played them for her and her friends. On the day of the party he arrived on time, and played a mixture of music that appealed to both the kids and adults.
I would have no problem recommending Sean for any occasion.

Years before getting engaged, I told Sean that I refuse to have anyone but him DJ my wedding.  When the time finally came, he was available and I knew that our reception was in good hands. Selector Sean was extremely professional throughout the entire planning process from start to finish, asking many questions to make sure that he captured the essence of our vision and to make sure he was prepared to deliver a musical experience during our reception that people would never forget. Selector Sean has done my family events and was my recommendation when my school principal approached me requesting a DJ to play at the schools Halloween party. Typically we experienced low turn outs for school dances/functions, because it was normally a teacher or student playing music from a computer, or mobile device. Once students and staff found out a DJ would be there, they were all excited. Sean was very patient with the students, took their request, and was interactive with the crowd. He kept the teachers, staff, and School Safety Agents dancing. In addition to Halloween dances, he has done my schools middle school proms, and end of year Carnivals which always bring a huge turnout. This is the second professional Architecture party I have had Sean DJ at. The first was with a crowd of about 100 Architects from NY, and the second party he DJ'd was with about 800 Architects from around the country in Attendance for a Conference. Sean had the entire crowd of various experience levels on the dance floor dancing to a range of genre's. All weekend our team received amazing feedback from our conference attendees about how dope the Host Chapter Part was, and we are thankful for the role Selector Sean played in that. Sean was the most important vendor at our son’s Bar Mitzvah. Keeping adolescent boys happy is a tall order and Sean read the crowd superbly. He played just the right balance of dance tunes, nostalgic tunes, played it all at just the right volume, and stepped onto the dance floor to rally the crowd at just the right moments without overdoing it. Sean possesses the gift of making people happy and he sure made our guests happy, not just the tricky kids and teens, but also those who are multiple generations older. This was my first time booking Sean for my event but I watched him in action previously at another event and let me tell you, i was definitely satisfied with his services. He is SUPER PROFESSIONAL!!!! He showed up on time and ready to work and also stayed 30 min after to play music for us while we cleaned up. Selector Sean is Amazing!!! This was my second time hiring Selector Sean and he amazed me once again. I hired him for my daughter’s 5th birthday party and during the week I checked to make sure everything was ok for Saturday and he was 2 steps ahead of me. Since this shower was for our rainbow baby it was veryyy important to us that everything was perfect .

I know many talented and professional DJ's including Selector Sean but for my 30th birthday, I knew he was the right pick because of his ability to dj (commentate), select the right music/genre at the right time for the right duration of time. It was one of the best decisions I made all year! In 2019, when people are on their phones doing whatever instead of enjoying the moment, I could tell you that almost everybody was off their phone, dancin' and having a good time. The only time a phone peeked out was to snapshot or record the vibes for future memories. Then, it was back to partying! There's so much I could say, but for one Sean was very easy to contact and communicate with! That is HUGE for me when booking any vendor/creative. He responded to my emails, texts and phone calls in a timely manner. He answered all my questions and took into consideration all the specifics I wanted at the party. He was prompt, showed up right on time to set up. His speakers were legit! No scratching sounds or clipping! The sound was pure and not too loud to send you home with your ears ringing but not too low to have you wondering if you at a party or a candlelit dinner. There were no awkward pauses or weird transitions. The music flowed seamlessly throughout the night. Sean engaged with the crowd with the commentary just enough to keep it rockin' but without talking too much. I could go on but he's definitely worth the while. Don't hesitate to book him! Your party will be talked about for months! Oh and might I add, you could book vendors through him to reduce the endless research and the asking-around planning process. I booked a POPPIN photographer through him last minute and the pics came out GORG!

Music, for me, is the the most important part to having a great party and I danced the whole night! He was professional and on time. I will definitely use him again for future events!

My Wife and I are HUGE music enthusiasts and never agreed on song selections and transitions by a DJ until we heard DJ Selector Sean. Sean was DJ'ing at a BBQ party, and both my wife and I found ourselves engulfed in the energy of his music selection as well as the progression of songs.

My family is from Jamaica and her family originates from Trinidad & Tobago, and although our tastes aren't completely different, we needed a DJ who could manage the strong personalities of taste in music from both of our families. The event was held to raise funds and awareness for the Brooklyn's Youth who are suffering or fighting back against depression and mental illness.
