He sends a file once you sign your contract to basically fill in your song request etc. for your event. I must also say It was very pleasant working with him, When I had any questions he would answer them right away.

I have known Selector Sean for over a decade now and I have literally seen his growth as a DJ and his love/knowledge for music. At my birthday celebration, he did just that, showed love through his gift of music. Selector Sean played for my family and friends which made everyone happy.

What makes Selector Sean my brother so damn good is that as millennials, he is the DJ we need to remind us of the good music that we grew up on, went to HS with and take us back to the clubs and parties that were vintage Brooklyn. During the planning process he checked in with us to find out if there were any special songs my daughter loved to make sure that he played them for her and her friends. Selector Sean is Amazing!!! This was my second time hiring Selector Sean and he amazed me once again. I hired him for my daughter’s 5th birthday party and during the week I checked to make sure everything was ok for Saturday and he was 2 steps ahead of me. He met with the owner of the venue and made sure everything was set for my daughters big day. He knew exactly what to play and even ended the party with my daughters request for the “Toy Story” theme song!! Sean is professional and reliable. He is now our DJ for every event!!

I know many talented and professional DJ’s including Selector Sean but for my 30th birthday, I knew he was the right pick because of his ability to dj (commentate), select the right music/genre at the right time for the right duration of time. It was one of the best decisions I made all year! In 2019, when people are on their phones doing whatever instead of enjoying the moment, I could tell you that almost everybody was off their phone, dancin’ and having a good time. The only time a phone peeked out was to snapshot or record the vibes for future memories. Then, it was back to partying! There’s so much I could say, but for one Sean was very easy to contact and communicate with! That is HUGE for me when booking any vendor/creative. He responded to my emails, texts and phone calls in a timely manner. He answered all my questions and took into consideration all the specifics I wanted at the party. He was prompt, showed up right on time to set up. His speakers were legit! No scratching sounds or clipping! The sound was pure and not too loud to send you home with your ears ringing but not too low to have you wondering if you at a party or a candlelit dinner. There were no awkward pauses or weird transitions. The music flowed seamlessly throughout the night. Sean engaged with the crowd with the commentary just enough to keep it rockin’ but without talking too much. I could go on but he’s definitely worth the while. Don’t hesitate to book him! Your party will be talked about for months! Oh and might I add, you could book vendors through him to reduce the endless research and the asking-around planning process. I booked a POPPIN photographer through him last minute and the pics came out GORG!

I had my baby shower on June 5, 2021 which was literally the hottest day for no reason. On top of that anything that could go wrong did. Btw my hairstylist, my makeup and my food. However I am ssssooo glad to say one thing I didn’t have to worry about was the DJ! Sean was super professional! This was my first time booking Sean for my event but I watched him in action previously at another event and let me tell you, i was definitely satisfied with his services. 47th Annual NOMA Conference | BELIEVE THE HYPE

Selector Sean has done my family events and was my recommendation when my school principal approached me requesting a DJ to play at the schools Halloween party. Typically we experienced low turn outs for school dances/functions, because it was normally a teacher or student playing music from a computer, or mobile device. Once students and staff found out a DJ would be there, they were all excited. Sean was very patient with the students, took their request, and was interactive with the crowd. He kept the teachers, staff, and School Safety Agents dancing. In addition to Halloween dances, he has done my schools middle school proms, and end of year Carnivals which always bring a huge turnout. He does an AMAZING job each time, and makes sure that he plays all genres of music. I highly recommend him for your school and personal functions.

Selector Sean is my Hidden Gem. I have been calling him that ever since he graced my event in 2021. During the heights of the pandemic…I was tuned in to his show “Check In and Chill” every Tuesday. It’s from his show I started analyzing the way he plays and how knowledgeable he is with all genre of music. With confidence, I hired him to play at my annual summer event “Luge Lime.” On that day, it rained but Sean had everyone dancing and having a good time. Because we had to cover the dj set, Sean was able to make people dance without seeing the crowd. After the party, EVERYONE talked about his segment and how great he played so I brought him back this year on June 18. Sean again, delivered an incredible set where girls came on the stage to vibe up with him. He is now crowned one of my favorite djs and one of Luge Lime Events staple dj. Additionally, as mentioned before about his knowledge of music, he is what you call a versatile dj. This is because his ability to mic, read and control the crowd. I had so many questions about which vendors to choose for my Master’s graduation but when it came to DJ, choosing Selector Sean was a no-brainer. He had done my sister’s 30th birthday party years earlier and we did not get off the dance floor. I knew that I wanted a NICE party but with VIBES. The vibes could not be compromised!!! I loved the swiftness and thoroughness in which he initially responded to me with availability, rates, and details. That’s really huge for me. He played everything- from 90s, to Reggae, to Soca, to Hip Hop everythingggg and stitched together so effortlessly. He definitely had the crowd feeling super young again. Let me start by saying I booked Sean last minute and despite that he was ready and willing ! Extremely detailed, organized and helpful. He even had extra services to connect us with besides just djing. It included photo booth services and photography. Prior to coming, I let Sean know the type of music I wanted, which included house and some 70s tunes. He delivered on that. When Sean arrived to the event, on time, he immediately and quickly got set up. He gave us the signal that the party was ready to start and that it did. Everyone was dancing ALL night long. Our wedding reception came out beautiful and I was very pleased with Selector Sean and his team for the services that they provided on May 18, 2023. I had many request and he worked diligently with me right up to the day of the wedding to make sure all my request were included. As it was a Disney theme inspired wedding, I loved that he remember to incorporate some Disney songs during the dinner time and he turned up the vibes for my very Caribbean family as the night progressed. Selector Sean did my wedding on October 15, 2022. It was a movie. I know this term gets used a lot but our wedding was really a movie. Sean had everyone on the dance floor from the beginning to the end of the wedding. Music selection was perfect and all the songs we put on our playlist was played. (From what I can remember lol too many drinks). But everyone keeps telling us how much fun they had because the music was on point all night. My Wife and I are HUGE music enthusiasts and never agreed on song selections and transitions by a DJ until we heard DJ Selector Sean. Sean was DJ’ing at a BBQ party, and both my wife and I found ourselves engulfed in the energy of his music selection as well as the progression of songs.

My family is from Jamaica and her family originates from Trinidad & Tobago, and although our tastes aren’t completely different, we needed a DJ who could manage the strong personalities of taste in music from both of our families.
