Man, where do I start?! Sean was nothing short of perfection. The day before my Baby Shower the Dj that was hired was diagnosed with Covid. THE DAY BEFORE MY BABY SHOWER!!! I called Sean at 7:25 the night before and his exact words were, “ what time? Okay I got you.” 40 mins later he confirmed that he was available and saved the day. He came through in the clutch, did above what he was asked. He got to the venue early and even helped bring in the cake. Sean was the perfect Dj and had everyone asking me “where did you find him”. I had my baby shower on June 5, 2021 which was literally the hottest day for no reason. On top of that anything that could go wrong did. Btw my hairstylist, my makeup and my food. However I am ssssooo glad to say one thing I didn’t have to worry about was the DJ! Sean was super professional! He came on time, the set up went smoothly, and he was just all around so pleasant to work with. The vibes started from the moment the speakers were up and didn’t end until the party was over. He had music playing for all ages (even my grandma was dancing all night lol). By the end of the event I had guests asking for his information and playlist lol. Selector Sean is Amazing!!! This was my second time hiring Selector Sean and he amazed me once again. I hired him for my daughter’s 5th birthday party and during the week I checked to make sure everything was ok for Saturday and he was 2 steps ahead of me. He met with the owner of the venue and made sure everything was set for my daughters big day. I know many talented and professional DJ’s including Selector Sean but for my 30th birthday, I knew he was the right pick because of his ability to dj (commentate), select the right music/genre at the right time for the right duration of time. It was one of the best decisions I made all year! In 2019, when people are on their phones doing whatever instead of enjoying the moment, I could tell you that almost everybody was off their phone, dancin’ and having a good time. The only time a phone peeked out was to snapshot or record the vibes for future memories. Then, it was back to partying! There’s so much I could say, but for one Sean was very easy to contact and communicate with! That is HUGE for me when booking any vendor/creative. He responded to my emails, texts and phone calls in a timely manner. He answered all my questions and took into consideration all the specifics I wanted at the party. He was prompt, showed up right on time to set up. His speakers were legit! No scratching sounds or clipping! The sound was pure and not too loud to send you home with your ears ringing but not too low to have you wondering if you at a party or a candlelit dinner. There were no awkward pauses or weird transitions. The music flowed seamlessly throughout the night. Sean engaged with the crowd with the commentary just enough to keep it rockin’ but without talking too much. I could go on but he’s definitely worth the while. Don’t hesitate to book him! The event was held to raise funds and awareness for the Brooklyn’s Youth who are suffering or fighting back against depression and mental illness. Selector Sean has done my family events and was my recommendation when my school principal approached me requesting a DJ to play at the schools Halloween party. Typically we experienced low turn outs for school dances/functions, because it was normally a teacher or student playing music from a computer, or mobile device. Once students and staff found out a DJ would be there, they were all excited. Sean was very patient with the students, took their request, and was interactive with the crowd. He kept the teachers, staff, and School Safety Agents dancing. In addition to Halloween dances, he has done my schools middle school proms, and end of year Carnivals which always bring a huge turnout. He does an AMAZING job each time, and makes sure that he plays all genres of music. I highly recommend him for your school and personal functions.

I had so many questions about which vendors to choose for my Master’s graduation but when it came to DJ, choosing Selector Sean was a no-brainer. My friends and I hosted a New Year’s Eve Party that Selector Sean Dj’d. When I saw the crowd was jumping! It was such an amazing time and he is so professional. Let me start by saying I booked Sean last minute and despite that he was ready and willing ! Extremely detailed, organized and helpful. Man, where do I start?! Sean was nothing short of perfection. The day before my Baby Shower the Dj that was hired was diagnosed with Covid. THE DAY BEFORE MY BABY SHOWER!!! I called Sean at 7:25 the night before and his exact words were, “ what time? Okay I got you.” 40 mins later he confirmed that he was available and saved the day. I held a surprise birthday party for my mom who turned 60 a few weeks back and let me tell you, no one could stay in their seat. I’ve attended a few events where I was able to witness the very talented DJ, Selector Sean. He’s amazing at observing his audience and delivering exactly what the crowd needs. Selector Sean easily became 1 of my favorite DJ’s so there was no doubt I needed him to DJ my virtual birthday party. I already knew he was a bomb DJ but actually booking him this time, I got to witness how professional he is. I witnessed his skills at a previous virtual event and while trying to figure out how to make the best of my birthday celebration I knew if I was going to have a DJ I would need to book him. I absolutely did not know what I was going to do, to be frank. 4|20 was approaching and my normal Networking Game Night that I do annually seemed to not be happening due to the pandemic. Boy would I be wrong. Not only would I take it virtually, I would have theeeee BEST DJ ever to make MAGIC occur!. Selector Sean…just WOW! It is one thing to be able to rock a party in person when you can feel the energy in the room….but it is an entirely different thing to rock a party in a ZOOM room! It is an entirely different thing to play back to back hits and have the crowd ROCKING from start to finish; to have people out of their seats, out of their beds- dancing, singing along! During a time like this, we don’t need someone LIKE Selector Sean, we NEED the actual Selector Sean! His DJing technique and style is amazing! What is more, he is dedicated to his craft. Selector Sean went through run throughs with me prior to the event to ensure that the music sounds was on point; that all the guests would be able to hear clearly the magnificent sounds coming from his DJ system. Our wedding reception came out beautiful and I was very pleased with Selector Sean and his team for the services that they provided on May 18, 2023. I had many request and he worked diligently with me right up to the day of the wedding to make sure all my request were included. As it was a Disney theme inspired wedding, I loved that he remember to incorporate some Disney songs during the dinner time and he turned up the vibes for my very Caribbean family as the night progressed. Selector Sean did my wedding on October 15, 2022. It was a movie. I know this term gets used a lot but our wedding was really a movie. Sean had everyone on the dance floor from the beginning to the end of the wedding. Music selection was perfect and all the songs we put on our playlist was played. (From what I can remember lol too many drinks). But everyone keeps telling us how much fun they had because the music was on point all night. From the bridal party entrances, to our first dance, bouquet toss, cake cutting and swag surfing at the end of the night, Selector Sean truly made my wedding night one to remember.

My Wife and I are HUGE music enthusiasts and never agreed on song selections and transitions by a DJ until we heard DJ Selector Sean. Sean was DJ’ing at a BBQ party, and both my wife and I found ourselves engulfed in the energy of his music selection as well as the progression of songs.
My family is from Jamaica and her family originates from Trinidad & Tobago, and although our tastes aren’t completely different, we needed a DJ who could manage the strong personalities of taste in music from both of our families.
